Brighton: 23rd-24th July 2016
Brighton is about an hour south of London by train so it is very popular commute as many people live in and around this wonderful seaside resort town, It’s a popular day-trip destination. Its broad shingle beach is backed by amusement arcades and Regency-era buildings (Brighton winter gardens is a must see). Brighton Pier, in the central waterfront section, opened in 1899 and now has amusement rides and places to eat. The town is also known for its nightlife, arts scene, shopping and festivals.
The GPPT will be held at The Amex stadium near the village of Falmer in Brighton and Hove that serves as the home of Brighton & Hove Albion F.C. The Amex Stadium is only a 20 minute car journey to Brighton Pier which is the heart of Brighton nightlife and restaurants.
How to get there
By Car
The Stadium is accessible from the A27 and just off the A270.
From Brighton follow signs for Stanmer Park, which is part of Sussex University.
Please use BN1 9RB as a postcode for SAT NAVs.
There is ample on-site, free car parking available at the Stadium.
By Train
The closest station to the Amex Community Stadium is Falmer station which less than a 5 minute walk.
It is served by trains from Brighton. Trains to Brighton run from London Victoria every 15 minutes during the day.
