HOW TO WIN A GOLDEN CHIP
The only way to win a Golden Chip is to win it in one of our [Irish Grand Prix €50K Golden Chip: 5 Gtd] tournaments on partypoker. You will find them in the Live Events and Grand Prix tabs. We are issuing a maximum of 500 Golden Chips for GPPT Ireland, so make sure you win yours soon!
HOW TO USE A GOLDEN CHIP
Once you win a Golden Chip, it is yours to keep for the duration of GPPT Ireland, no matter how many Day 1s you play, your Golden Chip will still count if you make Day 2. So if you played 3 x Day 1s and got through to Day 2 on your third attempt, you would still have your Golden Chip. If you played 4 x Day 1s, got through on your 4th attempt, and then played another Day 1 to try get through with a higher stack, you’d still have your Golden Chip. You only need 1 Golden Chip, as long as you make Day 2 (Ireland) it will be with you.
FAQ’S:
Is my Golden Chip also my Irish Grand Prix Ticket?
No. Your Golden Chip is just that. You also need to win your Irish Grand Prix ticket, or buy in to take part in the event.
What can I win?
The big question. If you win the Irish Grand Prix with a Golden Chip you will win €50,000 on top of whatever you receive for 1st place.
How will you know I have a Golden Chip?
If you win a Golden Chip in our Cent Rolls, you will win a Golden Chip Ticket, which will sit in your partypoker account until after the Irish Grand Prix is finished. It has no cash value, is not your entry ticket, but enables us to track who has one and who doesn’t.
Can I win more than 1 Golden Chip?
You can, but that would be pointless as you only need 1.
Can I use my Golden Chip at another GPPT event?
No. Golden Chips won in the lead up to the Irish Grand Prix are only eligible for GPPT Ireland. All Golden Chips will be removed from player accounts shortly after the Irish Festival! Use it or Lose it.
What happens if I already have Golden Chips from the first promotion?
That’s fine, nothing changes there, and in fact if you win a Golden Chip in this new promotion and have a Golden Chip from the old promotion and you go on to win it, you’ll win twice!

- This promotion runs from Monday 1st August until the moment when 500 Golden Chips have been won, or Sunday 28th August 2016 whichever comes first.
- The €50,000 Prize Money will be paid into the winner’s partypoker account within 3 days of the Irish Grand Prix ending.
- The promotion is a fun promotion, and we reserve the right to exclude any players who are acting in a manner contrary to the good will and spirit of this promotion.
- We reserve the right to change or cancel this promotion if we see fit, not that we intend to!
- Golden Chip [Ireland] Tickets have no cash value, are not transferrable or exchangeable, and will be cancelled after the Irish Grand Prix.
